My weapon of choice is Mexican Aftershock and my enemy is the bland slice of pizza I hold in my hands. I'll do my best to describe the experience. There are two stages to Aftershock. The first is a cool and soothing fruity spice blend that not only delivers a much needed complexity of flavor but finds the time to bring forth flavors from the food itself. Yes, this is a wonderful experience and each time I watch a friend try it they let out an "oh this is good" midway through their first bite. The second stage is pure fun. As "Aftershock" implies, heat creeps up on you to satisfy that little masochistic voice inside the heads of any true hot sauce lover. What doesn't creep up on you, is that overwhelming heat that typically characterize commercial sauces. Flavor and heat, with no compromise of either for the other. I highly recommend it. Heat: 7/10 Flavor: 8/10 Style: A pronounced fruity and tropical onset, a peppery spice finish and a devilishly fun creeping burn.
Summer is here and I am a fanatic about GOOD macaroni and potato salad. I decided to heat them both up a bit with some Sweet Mango Orange. I found that 3 to 4 tablesppons of this mixed in with my regular recipes adds a bit of sweetness and just the right amount of heat to kick things up a bit. (My recipes use 2 lbs of macaroni or 5 lbs of potato - so adjust hot sauce amounts according to your needs).
It is also a nice way - using less of course - to flavor up chicken salad.
I bought all three of HeadStone Heat hot sauces from the Broadway Market this past Easter Season. I just want to say that I love and use all three daily. I didn't think hot sauce could add so much flavor to a meal or snack, but these do. Thanks HeadStone Heat!
Hi Val and Glen! Bought Headstone from you the other day on your way to your birthday dinner. Want to let you know that we have been using it every day! First was on the steak and my daughter even used it today in her Chicken wing dip recipe. Great stuff!! Will be contacting you for more.
